Flat Pack Furniture

Most people recognise the term flat pack as relating to modern self-assembly furniture. The term is also sometimes used in the antiques trade to describe furniture that has been partially or fully dismantled for transportation, storage or in preparation for restoration. Antiques in this condition are clearly more susceptible to ‘improvement’ into something that may attract a higher price.
